Would Microsoft Word work? I know it has the capabilities to create a Table of Contents, and you created a mini-book with information about blogs a TOC would be useful. If you are going to create a brochure instead, you could use Microsoft Publisher. And if you wanted to create a story that could be narrated with your own voice about how to create a blog, setup an RSS feed, etc. you could use PhotoStory (it's free on the Internet). I'm not trying to push the Microsoft products......it's just the ones I'm most familiar with. Good luck!

Hey April,

I believe Dr. Lowell sincerely understands that we all have different schedules and busy lives. Most of us work full time jobs, have children, have household responsibilities, and more than one class of assignments to complete--and there are a bunch of people that have papers to grade at night. I have juggled this same feeling of being stretched for time. First of all, I thought when I checked off everything that was on our "Things To Do," list we got our points--but I found out different with my first set of grades (I was extremely discouraged). I have pondered on this for a while, and I think the bottom line is that we honestly should give our posts some "thought." I think Dr. Lowell wants us to dig a little deeper and expand upon our simple posts. I am sure he doesn't want us to ramble on and on, but he does want to see a lot of thought put in to them and not just something posted so we can check off our things to do for the week(I sure am not one to talk--I haven't been pleased with my grades so far). Nevertheless, I am working on this and hopefully this will all become more comfortable for each of us.

I am sure all of us will have weeks that we are thinking, "there is no way I will get all of this done for this week," but I guess we should always remember that we are not the only one in this class with a hectic life (at least that is what I try to focus on :-)). If we all work together, we'll figure it out. Hope this helps a little--to know you're not the only one that feels this way :-).

Good analysis. This gets to the heart of it: "Being Radical is more than just being an unstable person or idea…it’s about being who we are..."

And while I hadn't thought of it exactly that way, that's exactly what I mean.

The point about adjustment is very valid, April.

And I'm a notorious bugger when it comes to feedback. It's the curmudgeon in me. :D

I really can relate to what your going through, as someone who has taken distance courses before this is a totally different experience for me also. I feel (not in complaining) like I am chasing my tail with no hope of catching the nub. I work and go to school full-time along with having two kids and a husband whom is a professional firefighter (24 on 24 off) so at times a single parent trying to shuffle everything and still do it well. Hyperventilatiing ..........too! hang in there hopefully we will both get the hang of it soon.
